JHB/Mpumalanga Educational Tour Toggle

Day 1 – OT Airport to Cradle-of-Humankind

To be collected at OT airport by bus. Visit the Sterkfontein caves, where a human-like skull dated at being 3.5 million years old, were discovered. We then visit Maropeng to explore the history of humankind.

Day 2 Cradle-of-Humankund to Sudwala Caves

Travel from Cradle-of-humankind to Sudwala caves and visit Sudwala caves and Dinosuar Park.

Day 3 – Visit Hoedspruit

Visit Hoedspruit Endangered Specie centre and silk farm. Possibly sleep at Graskop Environmental centre. Also we visit Moholo Wildlife Rehab centre and possibly a silk farm (if time permits).

Day 4 – Panaroma route

Today we will visit the Blyde river Canyon, Bourke’s Potholes, god’s Window, etc. Blyde River canyon is the 3rd largest canyon in the world, after Grand Canyon (USA) and Fish River Canyon (Namibia). It is the largest green canyon in the world.

Day 5 & 6 – Kruger National Park

We visit the Kruger National Park for 2 days and participate in Educational program in the park. Possible stay in Graskop environmental centre for the 2 days.

Day 7 – Transfer to JNB

Today we will travel to JNB & on our way visit the Cullinan mines. The largest diamond ever found in the world was found in these mines.

Day 8 – ApartHeid Museum

Today we visit the Apartheid Museum & Gold Reef City for the Gold Museum.
This afternoon we transfer to Oliver Tambo International Airport.
