DAY 1 – Cape Town

The tour starts in Cape Town, with a tour of the mother city of South Africa. This is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Its rich cultural heritage and natural beauty offers a diversity of experiences for even the worldly traveler. In Cape Town there is something for everyone to enjoy. Weather permitting, we will visit Table Mountain.

DAY 2 – Cape Town

We take a tour of the Peninsula. Enjoy the stunning views of the Atlantic Seaboard. Visit Boulders Penguin Colony. This is one of only three land-based colonies in the world. Continue on towards Cape Point. Enter the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and drive through unique scenery towards Cape Point, the most South-western tip of Africa.

Day 3 – Cape Town to Oudtshoorn

Our departure from Cape Town takes us through the Little Karoo. We learn to understand this semi-desert and how to see a complete cycle of life in this arid place

Day 4 – Oudtshoorn to Knysna

Today we will learn about the Cango Caves, ostrich farming and the Wildlife Ranch. We will learn all about the Oudtshoorn area. In the afternoon we will depart for Knysna.

Day 5 – Knysna

After breakfast we will do an early morning walk in the Knysna forest. This will be an educational tour on the trees and the life in the Knysna forest.

Day 6 – Knysna to Tsitsikamma

Our day will be filled with excitement as we encounter the giants of Africa, the elephant. We will visit Monkeyland and the largest free-flight bird aviary in the world, Birds of Eden.

Day 7 – Tsitsikamma to Addo

After arriving at Addo Elephant National Park we will explore the environment to see what wild animals Addo has to offer.

Day 8 – Addo to Aliwal North

After a morning game drive we head for Aliwal North where we will reside for the night.

Day 9 – AliwalNorth to Clarens

Today we will drive all along the Lesotho border till Clarens, just before the Goldengate Highlands National Park in Free State.

Day 10 – Clarens to Nelspruit

Nelspruit is the capital of Mpumalanga and is situated close to the Sudwala caves. To get there from Clarens, we will drive through Badplaas(natural mineral hot springs) and bypass Barberton(first stock exchange and part of the oldest continent in the world).

Day 11 & 12 – Nelspruit to Kruger National Park

These two days will be spent in the Kruger National Park. We will do a morning and afternoon game drive.

Day 13 – Kruger to Pilgrim’s Rest

Today we do a panoramic drive of the Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and Pilgrims Rest. After adventuring into the past, we will lay our heads to rest in Pilgrim’s Rest for the night.

Day 14 – Pilgrim’s Rest-Cradle of Humankind

We drive to the Cradle of Humankind today, where we will learn about the origin of man.

Day 15 – Cradle of Humankind

Today we will visit the Sterkfontein caves, where a human-like skull dated at being 3.5 million years old, were discovered. We then visit Maropeng to explore the history of humankind.
This afternoon we transfer to Oliver Tambo International Airport.
